ABOUT ME

I am a blogger from the Philippines. Basically, I love story telling.

I have a great passion in writing, it's my sanctuary, a great escape and a welcome respite. I write stories that are hard to tell.

I am occasionally accepting writing projects from online clients and my rate per article, SEO content (400 words) is $6.00.

I earned my business course degree at the University of the Immaculate Conception, Davao City and took up Master in Business Administration at the Ateneo de Davao University. My field of concentration in MBA is Marketing Management.

I grew up in the province of Surigao del Sur in the outskirt of Mindanao  peninsula directly facing the Pacific Ocean. I brought up in a strict Catholic environment where we treated religion as the focal point of our existence. My father has been serving as a lay minister in our parish for more than 40 years now.

My principles in life are far from modern but I welcomed fresh and smart ideas about living life beautifully. My favorite world figures and the people I admired came from diverse background: The late Steve Jobs, Blessed John Paul II, Diana Princess of Wales, Ninoy Aquino, British physicist Stephen Hawking, world billionaires Li Ka Shing and Warren Buffet and His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.

Journal writing is a great relief, it helps me escape the clutters of daily life and offers consolation no person can. It allows me to talk without being judged. I can confide my innermost feelings without being humiliated.

I started blogging in the late part of 2005, I find it very fulfilling because I can express deepest thoughts and ideas without inhibitions. I am seriously planning to make writing a lifetime career at the same time becoming an entrepreneur.

I am a voracious reader, I collected books from royalty, wars, history and self-developmental genre. I am very fascinated with world history, wars and European monarchy, I often read books about the controversial era of The Hundred Years of WarWar of the RosesWorld War I and World War II.

I am a passionate journaler, I maintained a private diary and online journal, it's my way of relieving stress and tension from daily life. I started keeping a journal since I was 13 years old. I find it very fascinating then, I was delighted with the fact that I can practice writing without dreading somebody might read my horrible English. Then I discovered the comfort and relief of pouring down anxieties and worries on the white pages. Journal writing gradually became my favorite sanctuary.

I hate parties and never hang-out with friends. I love being at home, it's more peaceful and quiet and I have all the freedom to indulge in two habits -- writing and cooking. I grew up without a house helper so I am very comfortable doing household chores. I love doing things in my own way without having an anchor. I am totally independent.

I defined life as a mission and not a circumstance, so I take things carefully, one at a time and made sure I am doing the right thing based on my Catholic faith.

Now, I am permanently living in the city, but I am thinking of going back to the province when retirement comes. I am a country girl by heart.
